This is a 34-mile Ultra-trail marathon that uses the tracks, trails, and lanes throughout this part of the country including 3 long-distance footpaths. There are minor roads to navigate from the start. The course takes in the beautiful West Suffolk countryside before taking in the charm of the Norfolk woodlands which form part of Thetford Forest at West Harling Woods (Thorpe Forest holiday park)  before returning to the big skies and wide-open spaces of Suffolk. This event is not an overly technical route, there will be some markers for ease of navigation, however, YOU will be required to use your own navigational skills and aids. We ask you to download what3words app to help with navigation. 

This is a fantastic 1st-time challenge for those wanting to enter the world of ultra-distance running.  However, all participants need to have a level of fitness appropriate to this distance and it is the participant's responsibility to undertake the necessary training to achieve this event. 

RACE NUMBERS

Participants are required to collect race number on the day at registration which opens at 06:30 until 07:45 when the race briefing starts.

FIRST AID

First aiders will be present at the Start/Finish and along the course. If you’re in need of medical assistance, please alert the nearest marshal and prompt assistance will be provided.

FAMILY & FRIENDS

Supporters are more than welcome to this event. Please pass on the details from your final info email to any supporters coming along on the day so they can follow & support you safely.

There will be medals for all finishers

AID STATIONS

There will be aid stations along the route which supply refreshments. These will be at no more than 10k intervals.

TOILETS & CHANGING

Toilets are available at the Start/Finish area and along the route. There are limited changing facilities at the Start/Finish venue.

BAGGAGE

There will be a place to leave baggage at the Start/Finish venue

PARKING

Parking is a short walk from the venue but please car share where possible.

The Grumpy Goat bar will sell coffee and soft drinks for you to purchase from 7:30 am.
