SECURE TEAM ENTRY WITHOUT NAMES

How to secure a team entry before you know who is running which leg.

You can enter into a relay, securing your place, and add the runner's details later. Our step-by-step guide will help you navigate the entry process with ease. Note: Team Captains

The individual whose account is used to enter the pair or team will, by default, be designated as the Team Captain. The Team Captain does not necessarily have to participate in the race themselves, although they may do so if they wish. Regardless of any changes made to the team’s line-up, this individual will remain the designated Team Captain for all administrative purposes. All entries and results correspondence will be to the Team Captain via the email address provided. The other team members will not receive direct communication from the event. The Team Captain is responsible for ensuring that all team members have read and accepted the Event Terms and Conditions.

Note: Pair & Team Entry Payments

This race is licensed by the Trail Running Association and will be conducted under UK Athletics rules. As event organisers, we are required to submit details of runners affiliated with England Athletics-registered running clubs to the TRA. We understand that at the time of entry, clubs may not know which athletes will run each leg, and therefore it may be impractical to identify affiliated or unaffiliated runners at that stage.

To simplify matters and to allow you to secure your team or pair’s place without immediate differentiation, the Hereward Relay entry fee is set at £80, based on the assumption that all members are affiliated to an England Athletics club.

When your line-up is finalised, if any members are not affiliated, you will be contacted to pay a balance of £2 per unaffiliated athlete.

Step 1: Click on the button labelled 'Enter Team'

Step 2: Give your team (or Pair) a name and click 'Save'

Step 3: Add your first team member by clicking on the 'Add Team Member' button.

Note: You can change the name of your team at any time, so if you do not currently know the name of your team, use something like "Your Running Club Team One"

Step 4: Complete the 1st team member's entry form

Select the entry type: "Hereward Relay Pair" or "Team (3 or 4 people covering 4 legs)"

The details in the form may default to the details of the person logged in, but can be replaced with generic information for the purpose of completing the checkout. For example: Forename: "Runner" Surname: "One" Gender: "Male" DOB: "01/01/2000" Medical: In case of Emergency name: "Name"

In case of Emergency number: "01234 56789"

Read and agree to all T&Cs Click Add Team Member

Step 5: Simply repeat the process with your remaining team member/s, ensuring the name is different each time, to avoid a duplication error.

For example:

Forename: "Runner"

Surname: "Two"

Gender: "Male"

DOB: "01/01/2000"

Medical: In case of Emergency name: "Name"

In case of Emergency number: "01234 56789"

Read and agree to all T&Cs

Click Add Team Member

Forename: "Runner"

Surname: "Three"

Gender: "Male"

Read and agree to all T&Cs

Click Add Team Member

Forename: "Runner"

Surname: "Four"

Gender: "Male"

Read and agree to all T&Cs

Step 6: Once all places are filled, click "Proceed to Payment"

Step 7: Confirm details are correct, click "Continue to Payment"

Step 8: Select payment method & Check out

Step 9: Make any amendments to your pair or team in your "User Area"

You can use the platform to manage your team, adding team member details as you assign runners to each stage. In your User Area you can update team member details, change the running order of members, or change members completely.
